I think that this game could really go either way. Both teams are coming off weeks where they played much larger schools. I think that Harlan's secondary is really going to have to play well to beat this Williamsburg passing attack. However, if Harlan can hold on to the football and make some long drives, this game could be in their favor. UGLY! Wouldn't be suprised to see this one have a constant clock going in the second half. Nothing to worry about if you are a Lynn Camp fan though, all small schools go through these cycles. Kudos to Coach Mitchell for showing his kids this kind of competition when they are younger as a team, it will pay huge dividends in the future. LCA: 56 LC: 14

Final. Did anyone see this coming? At one point this game was 8-7. The score of the second half was 0-0. Southwestern had the ball inside the 4 yard line and fumbled it away late. They also did the same thing later on inside the 25. From what Coach Saylor was saying on the radio the bears were getting dominated on the line.

I think what you might have meant is that Corbin didn't play very good against your black bears... That is why I think they will play very well against Harlan (aka, I got a feeling that coaches are going to light a hot fire under some tails down there.) I would be very, very suprised if this one is as close as you are saying. I will bet you a big steak dinner on that one friend.

Awesome, awesome gesture. The folks from CPA have a ton of class. Great showing by the Falcons in this one. Sounds like they have their own rendezvous with destiny. Good luck to those kids this season.

Bell: 35 Marion: 21 Bell will be out to show people that they are for real. However, I don't think you can get in shape in a week and from what I am hearing, that is what bell needs to do. Marion will score some points towards the end of the game to make this one more respectable.

Middlesboro had a kid at MLB by the name of Floyd Branham (I think) that year. On the first offensive play of the game for Beechwood, this kid jumped the center and pulled down the QB for a sack. This really set the tone for the rest of the game. Great one to watch.

What are evryone's ideas about this newer workout program? Are any teams using it as a means to gain agility and functional fitness for their skill players and/or linemen? If you don't know what I am talking about, here is a link to the website.

I'm sorry but I think that Jake Napier, while a good player, was not as good as Hiram Fields who played out there for Coach Luttrell in the mid-late 90's. It was also before my time but didn't Tim Saylor play QB for Cawood as well? If so, he definetely has to make the list of best Cawood QB's.

Great win for Harlan. While I think a two win season should never lock in a home playoff game, it is the system that is there so there is no need to cry about it. Happy to see Harlan do well. Any stats?
