If FT Campbell stays healthy this team is unstoppable, can we get the Falcons to play Highlands for an overall state title this year?

It was nice to see the Fort Campbell bleachers full again since most of us are back from our deployments. Most parents will be able to watch the entire season this year before they start heading off on the next trip over there.

CPA presneted their jersy #73, signed by their team, to the parents of Bill Williams prior to the game. It was a nice gesture on their part and was appreciated by the entire Fort Campbell community.

The first half was a fairly close, but the Falcons got it going strong in the second. Some of the younger guys got some experience towards the end of the game.

Things like this just don't happen enough! That's awesome.

I personally was brought to tears by the pre-game gift from CPA. We will always miss our Tim #73!!! CPA was a class act both on the field and off. Great game tonight between two good teams.

I wish CPA the best the rest of this season. Go Falcons!!!

That was a nice gesture, it was very nice....just to clarify something, I'm Bill Williams, my son is Tim Williams.

We (my wife & I) met with CPA's Head Coach and he's a very nice man that spoke with us for a good fifteen minutes before we had to head out and get home....he even prayed with us before we left, which was a wonderful feeling.

Now, as far as the game goes.....it was closer than we Falcon fans would have liked for the first half, but Coach Berner and staff tightened some things up during the half and they came out and played a much better second half than the first. Some of the younger guys got in there and played as well.

As loveoffootball said, "We will always miss our Tim #73!!!"

Have a good night everyone.

Later.

It was a very nice gesture by CPA giving their #73 jersey to Bill & Kim. CPA showed class before, during, and after the game.

Good game by the Falcons. Andrews rushed for 4 TDs and threw for 2 more racking up 363 yards of offense. Turner scored twice on the ground as well. There’s a lot of football left, but the Falcons looked impressive against a good and disciplined CPA team.

Way to go Falcons!!!

Bill, I am very proud to see that you are still a great part of the BGP's family.

That was a tremendous gesture on Cpa's part and I am sure that everyone from Fc agreed, I wish both teams the best and hope to see Fc soon!

Now that would be an interesting matchup!

Great game tonight at FC; perfect weather, classy opponent, nice win.

TOOOO Funny!!! But also TRUE!

CPA's coach (Jay Matthews) was the quarterback on Bear Bryant's last Alabama team in 1982. They drove up early so they could visit and tour the museum at Fort Campbell and soak in the military aura at Fort Campbell. Not surprising what they did in the pregame and as someone else said, it doesn't happen enough.

CPA is a very solid Class 3A Tennessee school.

If what I am hearing is reliable, this Fort Campbell team has a good chance to be better than the last two state championship clubs.

You’re not too far off the mark. He is a special kind of athlete. Antonio is also one of two kickers and is probably as good at DB as he is QB, although he doesn’t get to play defense too often for obvious reasons.

Last night during a kickoff CPAs ball carrier made it through most of the coverage and Antonio put his should down and laid a big hit for the tackle.
