  1. Barkley, w/o a doubt. I think Pryor is going to start thinking that he is going to have to run the ball to win. While it would be nice for him to be a little more apt to run, I think he will try to over-do things with his feet. I could see OSU dropping some games in the future. Watch out though if he does stay the full four years. He is a GREAT athlete and will come around in the end, he is a year off IMO. Barkely, with the exception of the last drive, didn't impress me. He can only get better as the year goes on.
  2. After watching this game one thing comes to my mind. Neither one of these teams could play with Florida. I am not a Florida fan, by any means, so I am not just being a homer. I honestly don't think either team has the offense to score on Florida. I also don't see either of them stopping Florida from moving the football. I think USC would play better with UF just based on the athleticism of USC. However, neither of these teams is a "top three" team to me. I think Texas and UF (and possibly Alabama) are better than these teams, JMO. BTW, great game. Not a lot of offense on either side, just the way I like it.

  4. Good to see that they have changed in such a way that gave you an exceptional ammount of faith in their defense.
  5. Usually this would be way too early to discuss this type of thing. However, it looks like Bradford is going to be out of action for a while and that is going to put a big time hurt on his odds to repeat. So who steps up and adds their name to the race after the first week?

  7. Wow! Maybe I am behind on times, but I didn't see this one coming. Was Corbin that heavily favored?

  9. Hate to see a kid loose his chances at the NFL over something so stupid. However, I agree with a lot of the people above that if he would have punched the kid and then called it a day he would still be playing. However, when he went off on his own team and then went all Ron Artest in the stands, he deserves what he got in this one. As a coach, would anyone want someone back on their team after they tried to fight their own teammates, the other team, and the fans in one incident? I think not.
  10. Haha, touche! I forgot about the running clock rule. I was just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt... Odds are, you are right though.
  11. Wow! 82, I would be quick to jump on Murray running up the score. Sometimes, as a coach you can put in your 3's and they can still be putting up points. Either way, this is just ugly.
  12. That would have been much more appreciated. I would have slept much better tonight. Have a good night darling.
  13. Good win for Pineville. Looks like the coaches down there have this team headed in the right direction.
  14. Sorry... Noone ask footballfever any questions, he gets mad easily.:madman:
  15. Great win for the Green Dragons. Good to see them get back on track after a couple of rough years.
  16. Reason: This game was on the Army schedule until last year when Army paid out of the contract and Navy picked up the game. So the answer is, OSU wasn't planning on playing a triple option team when they schedule this game (since it was scheduled during the Bobby Ross days at Army when they were playing a pro-style offense). Kudos for Navy for picking up a game that Army ran from...
  17. Navy actually does have a decent play action passing game. Where they get in trouble is when they have to throw it... Seen them play four times in person in the last four years and I can tell you, they will be a physical football team that will not just lay down for OSU. Look for this one to be a lot closer than the experts think. Usually I only root for Navy against Notre Dame, but I am pulling for the mids in this one too. OSU: 21 Navy: 17

  19. I think that this game could really go either way. Both teams are coming off weeks where they played much larger schools. I think that Harlan's secondary is really going to have to play well to beat this Williamsburg passing attack. However, if Harlan can hold on to the football and make some long drives, this game could be in their favor. Low scoring game: Advantage Harlan High scoring game: Advantage W-burg I see this being a high scoring game as Harlan gets its first true test through the air. W-Burg: 42 Harlan: 28
  20. UGLY! Wouldn't be suprised to see this one have a constant clock going in the second half. Nothing to worry about if you are a Lynn Camp fan though, all small schools go through these cycles. Kudos to Coach Mitchell for showing his kids this kind of competition when they are younger as a team, it will pay huge dividends in the future. LCA: 56 LC: 14
