A Man Among Boys

Featured Replies

Absolutely Great Read! We always hear about it when kids screw up in life and we do not hear enough of these kind of stories. This story really touched me.

Ken Hughes is most definately and man amoung boys in more ways than one. A person has to pull for a kid like this.

Good Luck now and in the future to this young man. This story leaves me no doubt that he will be a sucsess in life no matter which way he goes or what he choses to do with his life. Should any coach have team full of these kind of kids they would never lose.

Good luck to you Ken at WKU, I hope that you can go there and with all else that you have accomplished at this young age I feel sure that you will.

Sommerset's Kenny Hughes IS A WINNER!!!

Excellent Story and just goes to show that despite all of the bad things in this world, fine people still exist. Man among boys is right on! Best of luck to Kenny and family.

Great story. I wish this young Man luck in whatever path he chooses.

Wonderful article on obviously a wonderful kid.

Sometimes people sit in the stands and judge kids or put them down...and if they only knew the circumstance of their lives...

Just when you plan on rooting hard against Somerset in a playoff game, everything has to go and be put in perspective!

Great story.

He is a SPECIAL person. I wish him the best in life. He deserves the best.

Good luck to the young man.

Sounds like a great young man! I was just wondering can a JR. high age student become someones legal guardian? Did this happen after he turned 18? Either way hats off to him and good luck at Western.

Very nice article on a great football player and an even better young man. He may not normally get the majority of the press clippings but he's the heart and soul of the Jumper's team. :thumb:
