The rumor (AT THIS POINT I HAVE NO FACTS TO BACK THIS UP) in Harlan is that Tom Larkey is the new coach, as of Feb 4th. Has anyone out there heard this? Please tell.

I think people are trying to get to many rumors going about the Harlan coaching job. I wish people would just wait until a coach is named. I do think that the new school will have a solid group of kids to pick from when that time comes.

Actually he's at Paul Dunbar. His first name is David. He also coached at Madison Central.

He was at East Jessamine. Coach Hensley left there to go to Paul Dunbar.

I have heard Larkey is a done deal. Big pay raise for him. That would be a great hire for the Blackbears.

Larkey leaving Rock would be a huge surprise to me! Spring practice probably only 6 weeks away, someone will have alot of work to do.

Yes, his son coaches there. That makes sense to me. Alot more sense than any of the other rumors I've heard so far.

The way I was told neither will put in for it. Another asst. is going to try to get it and the sons will continue to be asst. for the new coach? You know how rumors are but this came from a person in the program.

Coach Saylor? He has a great football mind and the kids love playing for him. He is the best asst coach ( maybe coach) in the state IMO. He sure works hard at it. You will allways find him in the film room at all hours of the night on the weekend.

Is Brunner still going to be interviewed?
