If any coach deserves credit for being a great leader it is JB Donahue. In the middle of the year every Harlan parent/fan on this website, and in general, seemed to be second guessing what was going on with the team. Well, it is good to see that JB got something he deserved with this win. This win has been a long time coming for him and it couldn't have happened to a better person. I don't think this is the best team that he has ever went up against Pikeville with, but they are the only ones who got the job done when it mattered. I really think that the game against Hazard will be a lot closer than what is expected. Harlan has improved ten fold since that game earlier in the year. Good luck to the kids and Coach D!

Wow. I was expecting KC to win this one, but not like this. What has happened to the Harlan team that looked as if it was much improved before the Hazard game this year, 68isaac? Who does it look like they are going to face in the playoffs?

OUCH! Didn't see this one being this big of a blow out. Give Larkey a couple of more years thoough, he'll have Harlan Co. playing with Bell.

I didn't think Harlan would win this one, but I expected it to be somewhat competitive (i.e. 18 point game).

Close one... Corbin will pull away late though. Too much defense on the part of Corbin in the end. They will put pressure on the Hazard QB unlike what he is used to seeing. Turnovers will be the key to this game, and I see Corbin getting some INT's. Corbin: 35 Hazard: 21

Didn't expect this big of a win. Leslie is going to have to pick things up or it is going to be a long year over in Hyden.

Rough season aking shape for the Green Dragons. I think everyone was expecting them to be much improved this year (which they may be), but 1-3 is not a good way to start... Looks like Mitchell's strategy of scheduling tough competition early is paying dividends for him now. Good win for the campers.

I am kind of impressed with South in this game. I really expected this to be a blow out. Good showing by the South Laurel defense.

Has Fugate signed with UT or only commited? I know he is only one player, but with a couple of fumbles, negative runs, etc. you have to wonder if he is all that he is cracked up to be.

Wow! 82, I would be quick to jump on Murray running up the score. Sometimes, as a coach you can put in your 3's and they can still be putting up points. Either way, this is just ugly.
