Top 10 players in each region 2011-2012

In looking at the Gene Lowe All Star game they say they tout the top 6players in each region. I am interested in hearing if these players are reflective of the top players in each of these regions...

I follow the 11th quite a bit and the players I know of are

Tamron Manning (Scott Co)

Isiah Ivey (Scott Co)

Taylor Barnette (Lex Christian)

Jay Johnson (Woodford Co)

Dominique Hawkins (Madison Central)

I know there are couple kids from Henry Clay, Bryan Station, and TC but not sure of the names.

I follow the 12th region somewhat closely(don't know much about Rockcastle County, McCreary or Monticello) so for the 12th region(in no particular order) I would go.....

I'd say some of this list is debatable(especially with my lack of knowledge on Rockcastle, McCreary and Monticello) but my list based off of how they performed last season and how they should perform this upcoming season.

I think he is asking for the top players in each region and that the Gene Lowe rosters piqued his interest and was wondering who the top players for each region are. I think that is what he is saying. My list has all classifications.

I would be extremely impressed if anyone could even name 10 players from each region.

I was hoping for those people from each region to post their own.

Why are there not more people talking about this kid? I saw him at KBA AAU last summer and all thru the state tournament....I was impressed! Like his game, big strong kid with skills.

I have heard plenty talk about him. Especially after the Sweet 16. He is going to Marshall to play football so that may be a reason why his hype isn't where you think it should be.

I hope Mr Wing plays basketball next year. I would not be surprised if he does not graduate early an go to Marshall in the spring semester to play spring ball. Football that is his sport, wish him good luck in his bright future.

Add Adam Fatkin of GRC to the list. He will be a senior 6'6 forward.

Good List Purplepride, I think you left possible the best player in 12 region off list. Tyson Williams from McCreary Central. 6' 5" 220 lbs soph. will be a Jr. next Year. He avg. a double double for the season will be a hand full next Season.

Burns would be in my top 10. And if Derek Lawson from West doesn't get mentioned at least I can't take the list seriously. Kid is a double-double machine when he walks on the floor. Most underrated player in the region and a huge part of WC's success last year as a top 4 team in the region. Him and Brown may be just about all WC has returning but they will keep them competitive.

I hope I get a chance to see him. Boyle didn't play McCreary so I knew very little about McCreary and who they have but I was certain they had at least one player deserving mentioning as a top player in the region. Thanks for getting his name out there.
