Couldn't they find some KY team to play this week?

I think they played Clarke Rd. Secondary school. The starters were out before the end of the 1st.

Who is Colerain?

They are a very large public school from Cincy, who pumps out around 5 d-1 guys a year.

Me neither, but with the proliferation of channels like ESPNU and Rivals.com, I've started to follow recruiting more and more, and they always have so many I just gradually learned more and more.

Colerain is the top public school in Cincinnati with a former coach that reminds me alot of Dale Mueller. Great talent year in year out. Big school state champs a few years ago and competes for it every year.

Actually, we aren't that large at all. We are in a 10 team conference and we are the 4th smallest school.

Probably half the male population of a school like T or X.

As a matter of fact No.... Colerain went all the way south to Florida and back up to Michigan before going over the border to Canada for a game.

unfortunately, that's not really the case at all. I think this canadian team only plays like 5 games all season. This game doesn't even count as part of their schedule.

Last year they were 2-3. This game was done for two reasons:

1. Avoid a bye so the players can stay in routine
   
2. cash grab - a home game with ticket and concession sales brings in much needed money for the boosters to help fund the other sports
   

The earlier comment about Colerain searching from Florida to Michigan is true. We did everything in our power to get a better team than this.

Oh well. That's enough Ohio talk on a KY board. :sssh:

Colerain also posted that they were looking for a game on several High School Athletic Association websites ... including the KHSAA... from Jan....til June of 2007... no one took it but the Canadians
