  1. Just some info on Middletown.... They were not the best team in Cincinnati. Middletown was almost beaten by Princeton. Lakota East played them very well and kept up with them. Their schedule was not very strong. The way the GMC is set up they missed Colerain this year. Yes, the QB is very good and young, they have good team speed and fly around very well. Their youth is probably what hurt them the most this year, the times I saw them the QB drove people nuts. In all I would say they are an average to above average OHIO team.
  2. Who and when are their scrimmages?
  3. Colerain and Highlands never had a two year deal. Bits and pieces of the Herbie explanation are correct. Basically it comes down to scheduling.... Colerain must be careful with their scheduling. With the first two weeks locked down with Herbstriet and Shoot out games, their league schedule I believe only has them with 2-3 home games off the top of my head. Week Three in the 09 season has to be a Home game and Manuel was the only one to step up.
  4. I think quickslick has a pretty good grasp of the situation.......
  5. I would say since Colerain pretty much had their way with Highlands and Cov Cath would have done better not to even show up to play Elder. How these two teams did playing each other should be of some interest to the KY board.
  6. I am sure it was a smaller number due to the weather and being on Time Warner.
  7. Hillard Davidson -- 7-3 (Last week in the playoffs) Upper Arlington -- 23-6 and 24-16 (played first game of the year and in playoffs) Grove City --- 37-19 (mid season game) This should be a very good game between these teams as good as the Colerain game... Do not know. They seem to go by the bend but don't break model of defense, this might not work against Elder.
  8. Regardless if Spencer Ware transfers or not Colerain should be pretty good.
  9. My bad I heard something else about our schedule. Sorry. It was just our game with X that was 8:00.
  10. Colerain has not lost a home game since 1999. Fact.
  11. Ok that is not what you stated --- you said "open enrollment." I can tell you that all of our players live in the Northwest local school district. Believe me. I am a lot closer to this than you are.
  12. Defensively the game was not as close as the score made it. 2 field goals, and the safety was taken by the Colerain coachig staff, kind of like Beechwood in their championship game a few years back. St. X did not cause the safety.
  13. There is no open enrollment at Colerain High School... or Northwest Local for that matter.
  14. And Colerain was without their starting middle linebacker and offensive guard. That's football.
  15. It's funny you say that, because I was thinking the same thing when I was reading about the St.X (OH) scrimmage @ Northmont on another site.
  16. This will be great locker room material for their week two game........
  17. Yes-very tough and has a ring to show for it also. And he got it in two years. He must have been doing something right.
  18. Colerain is young but still will be very strong. Reloading is the word. Their schedule is pretty tuff but should prepare them for a good playoff run. St.x - McKeesport - Highlands - Princeton- Sycamore are the first 5 games.
  19. Colerain is the Trot-Madison of '08. Could you elaborate a little on this statement in bold?
  20. Does Trinity have their scrimmages set for 2008?
