Give me some players and teams from the NKY area to watch put for next year.

Usual suspects...Highlands, NewCath, Beechwood...

HHS has ALL-WORLD Josh Connor back at RB and ALL-STATE Austin Collinsworth at DB returning. Along with returning starters Adam Dempsey, OL; Michael Laber, DL. But remember these names: Cody Rosenhagen, Brandon Roller, Oliver Head, Clint Crawford, Jake Turner, Jerrod Frank, Will Bardo, Tony Guidugli...any or all of these guys could appear on next season's all star lists. Not to mention the "unknown soldier" working their butt off in the weight room to get B-S-F (bigger-stronger-faster) who may surprise us all!

Beechwood is not as loaded as they have been in previous years. They still have some big names that get things done. Tiepel is the heir apparent to the running back slot, and with good reason, in a ltd role last year he put up big numbers, count on a stronger faster version this year, to back him up they have Colisimo, showed promise last year, a bit reckless but fearless as well, and a new arrival from Naples Fl. who comes to town with a tote bag full of talent. The line boasts 6'5" 260lb Dominic Mainello, All Star, All District, All State HM, what more needs to be said, Matt Miller that came on at the end of the year, and a new Jr version of Mainello, coming from Tn. with All District and All Star credentials of his own, big fast and mean! Receivers we lost Amalong, but still looking good with Slusher, Daniels, and Downton, D loses some big names but there was a few waiting in the wings. QB still up in the air . Three talented kids, one will make the leap.

All in all should have the talent to get to the dance this year as well.

What did you mean about Naples Florida..

Nothing for 6A? How about the new Cooper High School? Nickname? Does Boone County allow open enrollment like Oldham County: If a school outside your district has room, you may apply to attend there and you are usually accepted.

The Cooper Jags can only pull from kids in their district like all Boone County schools.

Boone County's Defensive Unit will be solid next season, they are returning 7 guys who started last year as juniors. Expect a few Seniors and Juniors to fill the roles of the secondary and defensive line this season. The offense this season will be young alot of key losses from the senior class which include Cory Farris, Shaun Bogle, Mercier Ducette as well as the whole offensive line except for Zach Hall. He will lead the way this season at strong tackle, followed by Andy Rich, an athletic guy who will be playing both sides of the ball. There are a couple Junior lineman working hard this off season to earn there starting role on the line. Charles Quinoo, a junior will most likely start at running back next season. He is a fast back who is able to turn the ball up field. next Season will be Boone's rebuilding year but expect them to come out hard like always and take it to Northern Kentucky Schools.

Besides Rob Kues and Mark Kelly...who does NCC have coming back? Any linemen??

SK- Bustle and Simpson.

What did you mean about Naples Florida..

Young man from Naples just moved to area, will be db and rb for the tigers

SK- Bustle and Simpson.

Bustle didn't impress me at all last season.Simpson will be one the top players in NKY next season, he's a fun one to watch.

Holy Cross has few players. Here are their names and the class they'll be next yr. Andy Ronker(jr), Mike Sullivan (sr), Donnie Stowers(jr), Brad Harold (sr), Brad Cooper (sr) They're all nice player!!!

I agree HC has a couple very talented players on defense, "Brad Herald" has turned in to a machine in the middle.

Who are some of these young birds that have to step it up?? Grubbs, Hogue, "Flying Brian" Beck, and Buten, should have some pretty good years.
