Colerain, OH coming to L'ville in 09??

Featured Replies

Colerain has reached a verbal agreement to play Louisville DuPont Manual in football next season. The item was first reported by Colerain's football website last week.

Colerain AD Dan Bolden confirmed the agreement today (12/15), but said he hasn't received a signed contract yet.

Glad someone else in KY outside of Fort Thomas was willing to schedule them...:sssh:;)

I guess they play schools in KY. to take a break from the Ohio schools?

Where is X or T?

Last season Colerain played a team from PA and one from Kentucky. They got by McKeesport (PA)in OT,14-7 and beat Highlands,33-18.

I know McKees was still undefeated when Colerain matched up against Elder in the playoffs.

They usually play one or two "marquee" match ups per year. As NCF stated, last year they played Mckeesport, PA in the Herbie at PBS, and Highlands at Colerain.

This game could very well be the one that will be played in the Kirk Herbstreit Classic at Paul Brown Stadium. Not sure if Colerain is playing in it or not, but that's the only reason I can think these two would be playing a regular season game.

Elder in the region championship.

In 2008 Colerain went 9-1 in the regular season losing to Middletown,42-39.

Correct. Forgot about that one.

Colerain will be the best team in Ohio next year. If Spencer Ware does end up there, it will be a triple option attack with a QB that is more than solid in the passing game. If not it's Tabar at QB and Williams and Durham picking up big chunks of yards on the ground. Either way, they are the team to beat in 2009...

Elder in the region championship.

I knew that one, I was at the game. Colerain lost that game because of dumb mistakes.
