I'm just getting all of this discussion on Tebow. The guy had a prolific college carreer, is now staring in the NFL, and is winning some games. I'd take it.

I can make fun of the fact he is a starting NFL QB who can win games by completing two passes but when it boils down to it somehow the guy wins. He just wins.

I just heard someone call him the Anti-LeBron, he plays like crap until the last possession. HAHA

^Listened to the Dino Costa show live from Denver last night and he said it was amazing how the people are just eating this up.

Tebow does one thing and one thing only. He wins. It's all he's ever known. You don't need nor get style points in the NFL. His team plays FOR him, not just with him, and it shows.

 

There's a reason this team was 4-14 in the past two years in games Orton has started, and now 5-3 in games Tebow has started. It's not a coincidence.

Orton and Tebow are completely different people. Orton sounds like a whiner every time I've ever heard him talk, Tebow is a leader. The players will follow Tebow in to battle, where they would abandon Orton in battle.

^I think it's a pretty obvious observation....Just look at the attitudes of the players with Tebow in. No doubt in my mind this team would be 2-8 with Orton still under center.

I believe Orton also started off great his first year in Chicago and was a winner there, just like he was a winner when he first started for Denver. My point is lets no get carried away and say Tebow is just a winner, when he very well could end up a lot like Orton and losing a lot of games.

 

I agree if Orton still started they probably wouldn't have won the last three. They would have still been trying to pass a lot more, and obviously they are better suited to run and count on their defense. The point is Tebow is not a winner until he consistently wins at this level, and just Orton was not a winner just because he started off as a winner. However as we all know some people on here are quick to jump the gun on things!

Heard an interview of one of the defensive players from the Broncos and they basically said that when Tebow is in the game the defense wants to do everything in their power to give him a chance to be successful. Right or wrong they love the guy.

I don't know if he'll pan out but it is obvious he makes the guys around him better. Denver is not a real talented football team. They have a physical Oline now + the D has stepped up. They run the ball so much it benefits their D. Dummervile has turned it on. They were comparing Von Miller to a young Derrick Thomas toady. That's huge!
