December 10, 200916 yr I think the more he realizes that this team can win without him being a major player, he will chill out. As a UK fan, I feel very comfortable Cal can handle him.

December 10, 200916 yr His baseline spin move and one hand slam dunk finish last night was pretty impressive. He's VERY good when he goes to the basket, but his fade away hooks and jumpers right over the defender are LOW percentage shots. He'll get there (and my bet is that he gets there by March)
December 10, 200916 yr I compare Big Cuz a lot to Jamal Magloire. He brings the same kind of physical play and isnt afraid to foul somebody. I dont mind the fouls, they do give you 5 to use. How many T's did Magloire rack up in his years? He ended up with a pretty decent career.
December 10, 200916 yr People have mentioned Randolph Morris and Jamaal Magloire in this thread. DeMarcus Cousins is light years ahead of where these guys were 9 games in to their careers. He may be a head case, but he is super productive sometimes. Those guys were not until later in their careers.

If Cousins is light years ahead of them in that regard, then he's beyond light years ahead of them in terms of potential.
December 10, 200916 yr Cousins sure played well in the 2nd half last night. I think it's time for a new thread saying how he's a lottery pick!!!!!!!

Cousins picked up 10, and many at crucial times. Cousins is developing and after picking up his 2nd foul early, only had 1 the entire rest of the game. I will take a double double from him every night and be very happy.

Of course Big Cuz is more talented than them, but he has the same attitude in a sense like Jamal, but I don't think so much Randolph.
December 12, 200916 yr Well what’s everyone think today? Is it time to pull his scholarship yet, maybe we can get Morakinyo Williams back... Cousins’ stats from IU game, 14 points 8 boards 3 blocks Played 16 min's

Cousins’ stats from IU game, 14 points 8 boards 3 blocks Played 16 min's He grew up a lot today, IMO. He played a pretty good game with not so many dumb errors. Didn't see him complain about a foul really either.
December 13, 200916 yr The whistle blew then he picked the guy up...he's lucky that wasn't a flagrant(dead ball) foul!!! Sure he had the ball but he knew!

You're watching with tainted eyes if you think that had even the most remote of chances to be a flagrant foul. The guy's leg was over the ball. He picked up the ball and the leg obviously came with it. Legal and clean.
