  1. Sounds like CCH should win state!
  2. Got a chance to look at the book, HC recorded 12 ground ball outs. So yes, the Colonels did hit the ball hard, but on the ground.
  3. The Indians make it 14 straight on the arms of Kyle Fuller and Nick Ritter. Fuller goes 4 innings of scoreless ball, Ritter gets the save. The Dixie starter was also impressive, just didn't get the run support.
  4. Glad to see you're posting again. Missed your recap last night, I wasn't able to make it out.
  5. Who pitched for CCH? Severson? I know Nick Ritter started for HC and threw well, and then Kyle Fuller came in and got out of a bases loaded jam. I believe he pitched the rest of the game too. The play at the end of the 7th must of been nuts, great call by HC and Dan Barth. And in the 9th Ritter gets the big hit to drive in two and Connor Callery drives in another to go up 4-1, which apparently they needed because CCH comes up with 2 in the 9th, if I heard correctly off the bat of freshman Grant Schreiver. I was not at the game so if I messed up on anything, correct me. There just wasn't really a recap of what happened? Congrats to HC though, huge win. Good luck to both teams the rest of the year.
  6. Nice to see the Indian lineup come alive.
  7. Judging by the excitement, I'm assuming HC threw their ace?
  8. Why not start with HC? They are the defending 35th champs and return almost everyone, but I also don't want to disrespect CCH and TOG because they did win state in 02 and have a ton of district and regional titles in the past and therefor should be the favorite every year. I think Beechwood will also be right there, as they bring back everyone and have some quality, experienced pitchers. Defiantly a very tough district as always.
  9. HC can get rowdy, but aren't as organized as CCH especially on the road.
  10. HC has great depth at pitching, in fact it's one of thier strong points. The ace I'd say will be Ritter followed by Tiberi, Broering, and Johnson round out the rotation. I may be missing somone though.
  11. What does that have to do with anything going on this year? I have nothing against CCH, just don't see them as the favorite in the 35th. If you have attended all these games then tell me why CCH deserves to be the favorite over HC and Beechwood?
  12. So rare. Maybe the tide may be turning...
  13. HC finally gets over the hump. Big win for HC.
  14. Good win for the Indians, this game got pretty intense down the stretch.
  15. The Finn is always rocking when the Finn Fanatics show up.
  16. How was the atmosphere at the Finn?
  17. Haha wondering the same thing myself. Beginning to question the integrity of the whole site.
