While it is not Trinity-Ballard, Campbell County and Bishop Brossart are crosstown rivals and will meet in the 37th district on Weds. 2/23 at Campbell County Middle School. The atmosphere for their first meeting was great and the Camels won in OT on a last second shot.

I would say that a vast majority of the most matchups in the 11th and 7th regions are going to be pretty good! Trinity and Ballard, 1st round district game has the make-up of a state championship game!

If the district seeds based on the first game played, which I think they do since all of the teams have played each other once, then I think that the 27th district should feature a Ballard vs. Trinity opener. Seneca has swept their match-ups with district teams and should meet the winner of this game in the finals.

The 54th has another good first round district match-up can with Perry County Central vs. Buckhorn, who have established themselves as the two of the top four teams in the region. Hazard is also in this district, which I believe draws, and benefitted from the luck of the draw this year.
