CCH had quite a few long "out" passes that were open.

Remember JC is making that long bus ride to NKY.

I do not care how good you are, that bus ride takes something out of you.

 

How many of the JC players go "both ways?" I read that the QB plays on both sides of the line. Anyone else?

No but it might as well have been. The most boring game I could ever have watched. Watched Belfry v. JC. Both teams I could have called what was coming. Only watched first half. One pass and a nice one at that. Everything is handoff to full back, hand off to running back, keeper. Heck the QB hands of and almost immediately while play is still going on is walking over to the sidelines to get the next play. They do a nice job on the run though. Of course that seems like that's all they do so they should be really good at it. QB is fast when he takes off with the ball. Roller and Johnston will be busy Friday.

Would love to see the JC v. Cov. Cath. tape. Like to see JC's pass defense.

 

Based on the stats of the teams that reported, JC gives up on average 14 yards a pass completion. This was based on 9 games. From the first Dixie game the Birds have averaged almost 21 yards a pass completion.

I remember one hit in particular over by the Birds' bench, that could, on a quiet night, have been heard in Dayton. :eek:

 

I was starting to feel a little sorry for the Dixie receivers, the way they were getting popped.

Look for a real physical football game. Remember Johnson Central will have to face the ''NASTY'S'' ,thats actually the Linebacker core for the Bluebirds, probly the best in the state! good luck both teams

Huge difference....IMO!!! Brandon Roller instantly makes a mediocre defense a fantastic defense when he lines up. He was sorely missed last year in this matchup.
