TrueBlueWildcat
I would be willing to bet he won't be for sure now. Mark that down. VC was Orlando's replacement for Hedu. :thumb:

HammerTime
Look at the salary cap numbers for the Magic. People tell me how they plan on keeping Hedo? http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=nxz98c

TrueBlueWildcat
He's 6'8 why can't he? Because that's not his game. He may be 6'8 but he doesn't play the PF position.
Blue Magic
Or why not resign Hedu and put him at PF, he's a good 6''9. Dwight's a beast in the middle anyways it's not as if you need a PF clogging the middle anyways. 1. Nelson 2. Carter 3. Lewis 4. Turkgolu 5. Howard ^^^That lineup is dirty. UKMustangFan
He's 6'8 why can't he? Try 6'10"..... Great deal for Orlando. They were always going to move Alston, so that wasn't a shocker, Battie is garbage, and Lee was useless in the post-season. They get in Carter, one of the better scorers at his position, and a guy that can score in ways other than the 3 point shot, which is what they needed from a perimeter guy. It'll be interesting to see if they draft a taller player, probably a sharpshooter.
HammerTime
It's not the point that they can't resign him they just don't have the money and he is going to want at least 10Mil a year.

HammerTime
Didn't they say they would pay the luxury tax penalty or whatever it is, to resign him? Yeah but now it got worse. I wonder how far they are really willing to go. Adding Vince adds 3 more Million for next year alone.
