I think this was a dumb deal for Orlando...

PG Nelson

SG Carter

SF Hedo

PF

C Howard

Just get a solid PF and that's a top 5 team in the NBA.

What about Rashard Lewis?

Free Agent

I think the obviously makes them a better team but I am not a big VC guy at all.

You know this makes me very, very happy HT...

BTW, VC is my favorite player of all time...

Nelson was already on the team so that move was going to be made.

Lee was as you said a ROOKIE who was good enough to start for them. He was only going to get better.

Carter does not help passing, defensively or rebounding. He will not help out Dwight HOward offensively as his drives will clog the middle instead of opening up the middle for Howard.

So adding a top five or ten shooting guard in the league is a stupid idea to try to win a championship?

What about Rashard Lewis?

Yeah add him at PF..that lineup is stacked! :dancingpa

If it is about team championships, yes.

Carter is a great individual talent. At this time in his career, I don't think he helps a team by being so one-dimensional. He does not improve a team that was poor passers. He does not improve the team rebounding. He does not improve the team defensively.

With Hedu back, offense was not a huge problem with the team despite their poor shooting in the Finals.

IF Dwight develops a more well rounded offensive game and can be a true offensive threat, that will help this team more than Carter.

NO WAY Carter is a top 5 shooting guard.

I don't see this being a really poor trade for Orlando, but I think Lee was really starting to hit his stride and Alston was playing pretty well. That being said, adding a player like Carter can really only help the overall athleticism of your team and I think he'll fit in there.

This is exactly the type of situation VC needs to be in. He can't succeed as the star on his own team. I knew you would be pumped.

Lewis as a PF?

He'll be back mark it down.

I would be willing to bet he won't be for sure now. Mark that down.
