Leonhert has been hands down the more accurate passer. I agree with GreenDandy, Brohm's game is power running and FB would be his best spot.

Passing is about 20% of what St X looks at in a QB.They are notorious at taking a fullback and making him a QB. ergo, he is the best QB prospect.

I thought Brohm gave the Tigers their best chance to win with his ability to run. Without him their offense was more predictable. Trinity's defense did not appear to make meaningful adjustments to the very basic offense St. X ran. I don't think this game was a preview of coming attractions simply because the coaching on both sides will be much better Friday night.

What you say is true...X can defeat 99% of their opponents on a regular basis with a running QB and stable of good backs and they seem content to stick with that philosophy. But,there are some X faithful who would rather defeat that school on Shelbyville Rd. in November or December on a regular basis. IMVHO, that requires a QB who can stretch the defense with the pass and is mobile enough to buy time in the pocket and tuck it and run if needed. If that means losing a couple regular season games to Male or Manual but improving as the season progresses to the point that X wins a title I would prefer that over an undefeated regular season and runner-up trophy.

Wake up, St. X does not care if you can pass better, If that was so, the QB on the varsity would be different, and that would not be either QB's they now have The best passing QB from the Jr class is not playing QB but another position. If you can not run with the ball, you will be moved to another position. Passing skills do not enter into the decision.

Who is the best passing QB not playing QB?

Matt Brutscher for sure and Briam Buehner have great passing skill.

I was impressed with both Luke and Ryan in the game on Monday. As well as play by the O-line. Enjoy watching 41 and 2 for X run the ball. As for defense great hits by 98, 35 and 27 (loved the one on X sidelines). In addtion, 48 with 3 sacks played well for the D line as well as 19 and 23.

Great game by both teams.

Brutscher is the best QB.

Wake up! If St X wants to beat Trinity in December they have to be able to spread the field. Loehnert's passing ability put them inside the 10 twice and then the "running mentallity" took them out of the end zone. The play calling was abominal. Brohm at tailback over Hall on the last drive? Hall at tailback for a play that he has never run with loehnert at QB, inside the 10 in the second quarter?(great coaching). In the 2nd quarter, Brohm's inability to see a wide open #21 because of his run first mentality cost the Tigers a TD and gave the Rocks the ball on a fumble instead of a TD pass.

With Cincy St X and Cincy Moeller on the schedule next year, St X better wake up and learn to spread the ball to their athletes like Hall and Hayden thru the air in order to be competitive.
