St X staff has thrown 4 striaght shut outs against South Oldham, Owensboro Catholic, Perry Meridian (IN), and Bullet East. Tougher challenge at Lex Cath on Thursday

Spalding throws Strikes!
-
All things being equal, I'll take the 90+ mph pitcher who has demonstrated they can throw strikes and take my chances at the high school level.
-
58Bulldogs - - The Padre's had a scout at the scrimmage and the reading was off of their gun!
-
Matt Spalding hit 95 mph multiple times last Saturday during an inter-squad St X scrimmage
-
All I can say is Wow!
-
This was never intended to be a negative - - - - Once again, Matt is a GREAT baseball player. The initial response was to "how big is Spalding". Everyone knows he has a great arm and will be the key to St Xavier's season next year. Just trying to give an accurate answer to his height.
-
Terrific Examples. Matt is a terrific baseball player and has unlimited potential. I'm just amazed at how people travel and watch players and then have no idea of their actual size.
-
That's good news for St X since he was 5'10" this past spring as a Junior
-
Spalding is about 5'10". He is a great athlete

jimmyref: slight correction to your post. Glaser did not compete with fall baseball for a potential starting QB. The person in question was by far the top QB Freshman and Sophmore year, however, Glaser was the person who told the player his services as QB were not needed at St X.

Problem is -- they were the ones talking the most smack -- Congrat's to the X Seniors who beat the best coach in high school football! -

You are obviously not a Senior on the THS 2009 team. -

Maybe if THS takes the regular season more signiificantly the seniors who got to play then - -not in the title game would have more to talk about - -remember-- it's all about winning, isn't it? -

Did you feel the same when Beatty ran a hook and ladder against Ryle when up 42 points a few years back? How about when he refused to shake the Manual coach's hand after a defeat? Get over it, St X played a great game and it is what it is! -
Who Wins?
-
Was the game at Cathadral and did Trinity's staff and players have the same class that they showed at Louisville St X when they trashed the mid field emblem?
-
Oscar Brohm's brothers son.
-
Did St X play any Juniors?
-
Any scoop from this game?

Offense has a lot of work to do----Hope they don't get behind -
St X has some talent in their upcoming Junior class. At the top of the talent train would be Daylen Hall and Devonte Beech. Murray an Hayden are exceptional running backs and if they ever consider the pass they have a QB who can do the job.

Game was 28-0 at the half. St X tried two trick plays to end the first half and that's where the focus seemed to get lost. Second half was mistake ridden for St X and the game was not that close,
