...And if UK gets a sizeable lead all that anger and hostility for UK will remain in the stadium but immediately be redirected at Kragthorpe...

That's a big "if"....

Bottom line, as far as I'm concerned, I wouldn't be shocked to see either team win. Do I think UL will win? Yes...But if UK does win I won't be surprised one bit.

This will in all likelihood be the most hostile crowd UK will see this year.

Highly doubtful IMO.

...from what I gather from some UL fans..the sizeable part doesn't matter in my quote....

I agree with you. I think it will be close either way.

Highly doubtful IMO.
Your not a big game to anyone else you play at.
Your not a big game to anyone else you play at.

That is completely subjective.....

If for some Act of God UK enters the Florida game undefeated, I promise you that College Gameday will be there and it will be a HUGE game.

I am sure LSU would not have anticipated UK to be a hostile crowd when they saw their schedule last year, but the magnititude of the game was considerably different once the season played out.

And for what it's worth UK @ Miss State is potentially the pivot point for both team's seasons.

Now this may sound dumb, but as a UK fan I just can't go against my Cats. Cats win in a thriller.Go Cats

That's a big "if"....

I can agree with this statement, only I think that U.K. will win in a close one. A U.L. win may suprise me a little, just not very much.

Read the book, "Dixieland Delights," I think it is called, to see how UK is viewed around the SEC. It is not a big game to the other schools. That is why the Cats can pull an upset here and there. I hope UK is starting to become a player, though.

My feeling is that this will be one of the more intense crowds at Papa John's history. The last time that the game was played in Louisville after a loss to UK the previous year was the opening year of Papa John's when UK had Tim Couch.

The Louisville fans are very angry over last season, and a long off season of call in show bragging from the most hated of rivals hasn't helped to extinguish the flames.

This will in all likelihood be the most hostile crowd UK will see this year.

This will not even be even close to the most hostile crowd this year. 42,000 - 15,000 KY fans = 27,000 total UL fans of which only a few in the crunch zone even bother to cheer. Bama, UT, Florida will be the most hostile by far.

Whatever you need to tell yourself.

I am not really a fan of either team (Alabama is my team) but I will be pulling for Louisville because of Hunter Cantwell. He played for Paducah Tilghman and I got to watch him play a few times.

Not a real good reason but so what.:D

UL to win. Why? Because I want them to win. :D

Your not a big game to anyone else you play at.

But UK is playing in the SEC. UT and UF will definitly have huge hostile crowds waiting for UK.

UT possibly because they are a neighbor state, but UF has much bigger fish to fry.

15,000:rolleyes:

I understand you have UofL season tickets so you know that isn't true.

This is the first year in a long time that UofL fans don't see this game as an automatic W. Even in 2002 when UK won, UofL was expecting a big win. The crowd will be very hostile.
