That would be a bit un-founded....U of L has 2 NFL ball players in their backfield.

I'm sorry, but who is UL's 2 NFL running backs you talk about? I believe UK has an advantage at running back because of the depth and speed at the position.

I believe UL's big advantage is having a more experienced QB and betteer WR than UK does. Other than that UL doesn't see to be any better than UK I believe UK will win, unless whoever the QB is makes big costly mistakes that cost UK the game.

IMO the game will be won by the team who controls the line of scrimmage. Not the skill players but the guys in the trenches will get the job done. Kentucky 24-21 on OT.

Don't you just love this stuff!

Brock Bolen will be in the NFL, and I feel that Bilal Powell will as well. Brock has been approached by Green Bay, Atlanta, New England, Kansas City, Indianapolis, and Miami thus far.

Because we are comparing players of the same position I'll provide Phil Steele's top position rankings of UofL and UK players.

At best it is a push for UL IMO.

Which is what I already said.

So after gathering more info I would say looking at the starters on defense:

DT #1 ADVANTAGE U of L

DT #2 ADV UK

DE #1 and #2 ADV UK

OLB #1 and #2 ADV UK

ILB ADV UK

CB #1 and #2 ADV UK

FS ADV UK

SS ADV U of L

Agree? Disagree? Thougts?

I'll agree with that

At what? Rapping before the game?

And Warford (sp?), whereever he is playing is the worse defensive player on the field.

BTW, I where glasses.

Warford is no longer starting atleast.

The Big East isn't as bad as people want to believe. No way the 12th team in the SEC would be 4th in the Big East.

Heck, USF beat Auburn at Auburn. The SEC is a better conference, no doubt about it. But it ain't that drastic.

I did not say that the Big east was bad conference. I said that there was no comparison with the SEC from top to bottom. Yes, USF beat Auburn. that does not change my mind at all.

UofL points vs

UK 34

Syracuse 35

Cincy 28

UConn 17

Pitt 24

WVU 31

USF 17

Rutgers 41

Probably near the bottom.

and you are now resorting to this kind of comparison? I would say unbeleivabe but it really isn't now looking back on some other statements. Points scored vs. opponets in games that a team you are comparing with did not play.:laugh::laugh::laugh: There is no use to even try to discuss this any futher...........:walk:

So I suppose the "Look" test is a better comparison, or how about lets use high school "recruiting stars", or perhaps we could use the oh so scientific test "our stadium has more seats then yours so our players must be better" comparison.

Some how some way, WHAT YOU DO ON THE FIELD has importance. Before you jump at my on field comparison why don't you make some comparison based on anything other than hype and opinion.

I agree!:thumb:

UK will win this game for two reasons: 1. UK has a lot more athletes on both sides of the ball. 2. UK has more experience than UL.

I think coach Brooks is awsome, while Louisville's head man is a joke.

1. UK has a lot more athletes on both sides of the ball.
Your kidding yourself.
