Before you jump at my on field comparison why don't you make some comparison based on anything other than hype and opinion.

He can't.... He jumps in on other peoples arguements and rides their coat tails...Don't even sweat it RRR...

And as far as this thread, as good as the UK fans are making the Cats out to be, UL shouldn't even show up...Save us all three hours and 40 bucks....

I think coach Brooks is awsome, while Louisville's head man is a joke.

I would LOVE to hear more about this....

1. UK has a lot more athletes on both sides of the ball.

Incorrect.

Vegas has UL favored by 3.

Coach K is a "joke"? Curious? Based on what? Has he had four years to get his players on the team? I guess you are entitled. I disagree and understand football and coaching changes. But you question why Bama let Mike Shula go.

I've been hearing 5 1/2.

Does anyone here think that the team they're not rooting for will win?

^ Of course I have that feeling....but I also feel if U of L plays to their potential, they will win...

That is why it should always be the first game.

What worries me most for UK is the youth playing in a fairly hostile environment in the opener. I honestly think that if the Cats play like they can then they will win the game. I'm not sure if I expect them to win though.

My feeling is that this will be one of the more intense crowds at Papa John's history. The last time that the game was played in Louisville after a loss to UK the previous year was the opening year of Papa John's when UK had Tim Couch.

The Louisville fans are very angry over last season, and a long off season of call in show bragging from the most hated of rivals hasn't helped to extinguish the flames.

This will in all likelihood be the most hostile crowd UK will see this year.

So I suppose the "Look" test is a better comparison, or how about lets use high school "recruiting stars", or perhaps we could use the oh so scientific test "our stadium has more seats then yours so our players must be better" comparison.

Some how some way, WHAT YOU DO ON THE FIELD has importance. Before you jump at my on field comparison why don't you make some comparison based on anything other than hype and opinion.

That is what most people including myself have been doing, read the post again. There is no comparison with the teams and what you put up there to compare. I guess that U.K. is just not "elite" enough, uh :D?

As for you rant on "what you do on the field", I will point out that first of all I can hear just fine and you don't have to yell.

Secondly, I beleive that we all saw what each team did "on the field" last season now didn't we?

See ya, have a nice season :walk:..........:lol::lol:

...And if UK gets a sizeable lead all that anger and hostility for UK will remain in the stadium but immediately be redirected at Kragthorpe...
