I think the Cats win because they have a better defense and a better running game. If the Cards win it will be because Cantwell is better than Hartline. I'm going with the Cats in a tough game.

How can you say the Cats will win, after making this statement? This factor is a no-brainer, doesn't matter if you're a fan of UK or UL....

Maybe because Peyton Manning playing on a team with a little league defense would still lose?

I'm not saying UofL's D will be that bad (I hope it is), but simply having a better QB doesn't guarantee victory.

I'm just going off what he said. "If UL wins its because Cantwell is better than Hartline." I think you would agree that is definitely the case.

UK's offense is going to stink, UL's defense is going to stink, which one stinks the most will determine the outcome of the game.

That's probably the most honest assessment of the game in this thread.

I predict a very low scoring game.

^ It could be very, very ugly....it is getting worse by the day. That said, who knows what the outcome will be. I can say that I am honestly amazed that the spread is 4 1/2, it came down from 5 1/2 after the Long news.

I think it may be UK this year. They are coming off of a strong season last year and one would think that they will be better this year. (even given all the graduation etc.) U of L struggled last year, even with the modern day golden boy. Now that BB is gone, can he be replaced with a guy who has 14 college passes???? I would have to think that irregarless of Hunter Canthorws abilities, this will be a major loss for Uof L. Hope it is a very competitive game. Good luck to both throughout the season...

14? Try 157....

No way in the world will UK be better this year than they were last year.

Nope. :thumb:

It's way too early to say that. We know the defense and kicking game will be better, the OL should be better, so if the offense comes around who knows they could be better. But way too early to say either way!
