It's way too early to say that. We know the defense and kicking game will be better, the OL should be better, so if the offense comes around who knows they could be better. But way too early to say either way!

The defense SHOULD be better, there is never a guarantee.

Assuming that the defense and kicking game get better, ("it's too early to tell" to put it in your words) there is no way either one of them improve enough to make this team better overall after the loss of Woodson/Burton/Johnson/Tamme. It's just not gonna happen.

And how many people has UofL lost since last year's stellar season?

And how many people has UofL lost since last year's stellar season?

And how is that relevant to UK being better than they were last year?

That's your opinion, mine is that there is enoungh young talent in the program that if they step up they have the potential to be as good or better than last year but we will just have to wait and see if that happens.

I think you can take this one to the bank for certain. The defense will be better.

You're going to jinx yourself.

Weren't they one of the worst units in the SEC last year? Them getting better wouldn't take much....

As UofL found out the hard way last year. :sssh::lol:

Weren't they one of the worst units in the SEC last year? Them getting better wouldn't take much....

The UK defense wasn't great but they did have their moments last year allowing 27 points (LSU), 24 points (@UGA) and 31 points (UT) in the regulation portion of those games last season. They also have two guys who could end up all Americans in Lindley and Jarmon.

Believe me I will be the first to say I told you so on Sept.1st.

See post #185.

They also gave up 34 to the "terrible" UL team...
