October 5, 200718 yr Honestly, did you all really think that UK was going to go undefeted and compete for the national championship? Teams have "bad" games and they just so happened to have it on national tv. Woodson is still a very good qb and has plenty of opportunity to show what he can do the rest of the year. He says he doesn't care about the Heisman so why should we? The season isn't over. UK still has a very good team. Lets enjoy this season. Lord knows they don't come around that often. I felt that we could go 9-3 this year and go to a much better bowl game than we have in the past. Last night did not change that expectation.
October 5, 200718 yr Woodson needs to tuck it and run some. Dont stay in the pocket when it starts to crumble. Also, when you throw the ball off your back foot while backpedaling, it's going to get picked.

October 5, 200718 yr Most of us thought UK would have to play their best game of the year to beat USC. We didn't even come close, so we should expect to lose if you don't take care of the ball any better than we did. Did USC have anything to do with us playing so poorly, of course they did they're the best team we've played to date. I predicted we would win because I have faith in my team, but I actually think Florida is a better opportunity for another big win. And yes RP I work for the University so I can say we.

October 5, 200718 yr Well, I picked UK to win, but I can't say that I'm surprised they didn't. UK had EVERY opportunity in the world to win this game and they just gave it away. Some of the playcalling was questionable, and Locke was nowhere to be seen when I thought he could've helped them out tremendously. Rebound and play good against LSU... Absolutely cannot afford to let this one stay in your head long.
October 5, 200718 yr Here's my silver lining thought: UK played TERRIBLE and still hung around against the #11 team. UK was rattled big time from the start. The offense just couldn't get it going. Woodson was not the calm cool and collected QB we've seen all year, and the play calling didn't take advantage of the run game. I can't fathom UK continuing to play that poorly. Hopefully the chip is firmly back on their shoulder.
October 5, 200718 yr UK finally played an opponent that was worthy of their ranking. Expect 3 straight loses including this one and a drop out of the top 25.
October 5, 200718 yr I honestly thought UK would lose by a couple of touchdowns, but I really didn't expect them to play as bad as they did. You simply can't have the costly turnovers they did, and expect to win a football game on the road. It only gets tougher the next two weeks. Hopefully the Cats will regroup, and have a better showing next week, even though I don't expect them to win that one either.

October 5, 200718 yr Lets not lose our heads about UK's defense. They had ONE great QUARTER. Other than that, they couldn't guard the TE or #11. If it weren't for the qb, they have a TD instead of settling for a FG in the first half. Woodson's first fumble simply gave them the 7 that SC's O earned on the first series. Good Ds don't give up 3rd and longs against an "average at best" FROSH qb. Good defenses make stops when their team needs a big stop. This defense cannot and has not done that.

He and the Cats will have plenty of chances to redeem themselves before then.
