October 5, 200718 yr Kentucky 4 , South Carolina 1. This is the turnover stat the main thing that cost UK the game tonight. Plus SC had 14 points off of 2 turnovers. Woodson looked rattled early, even Erin Andrews of ESPN said that he told Coach Randy Sanders things don't look to him and they should run more. UK was the better team but mistakes against a good defensive team on the road in the SEC will kill you everytime. They should have ran more. Sometimes UK gets impatient, they did it at Arkansas and got back in it with the run. I was diappointed they did no Dixon more inside the 20. The one drive Little gets tackled for a loss...Dixon runs for 10, Little tripped up, then the fumbled draw....I would have fed Dixon.
October 5, 200718 yr Fair enough. But you get my point... I agree with what you are saying. They still haven't found #84 dragging across the field. UK was playing m/m and SC did a great job of running DB's off and utlilizing the pass to the flat.

UK should have won this game and they are, plain and simple, better than SC. 1. I disagree, imo SC has a good team. They are 5-1, have beaten Georgia and are now 3-1 in the S.E.C. and 2-0 in the SEC east. 2. I agree to a point. Yes U.K. had plenty of blown opporttunities that could have maybe won the game. South Carolina was the better team tonight. That is all that matters. 3. Imo the Gamecocks are the best football team that U.K. has played to date. I beleive that they are better than Arkansas even with McFadden (best player in the country) and are definatley the most well prepared and best coached the that the Cats have faced so far. I am as ticked off as anyone but you have to give them credit, they (S.C.) had mistakes as well but overcame them to win the football game. U.K. did not. All the Cats can do is tip their hat to them, get back to work and prepare for LSU on the 13th (who will then be the best team that U.K. has played thus far).

My understanding from the UK announcers was that he was ailing.

October 5, 200718 yr I think the ship will right itself, but I think we have 2 more losses coming before we balance out. We needed this one, but we made the "UK" mistakes that we have became accustomed to seeing over the years. We may pull an upset on GA or TN, but I'm guessing we finish up 7-5, with a close loss to both.

Remember, there was a time when UK fans EXPECTED to lose in a situation like this. Tonight, they expected a win. If that isn't progress, I don't know what is.

I feel bad for UK, but these guys need to show how much they've grown in the past years and keep their heads up. They've got a tough road, but they may still have some surprise wins left in them.

They were ranked 11 now will be top 10. What exactly do you consider a bad team?
October 5, 200718 yr UK fans this one was coming. When you play in the best conference in the country don't perfrom... one letter L. Like I said before SEC is not a forgiving conference move on quickly. I wouldn't be surprised to see a few more L's before it's all said and done.
