The Cats of Kentucky (23-9) will take on the Oakland (23-11) from the Horizen League in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament in Pittsburg on Thursday.

Oakland has the better coach...... Kentucky has the better players.....UK by a bunch. UK fans should not complain about their seeding or placement.

This bracket had the chance to open up much like 2018 when UK lost to K State in the seeet 16. No reason to not make the Elite 8 in this bracket.

Absolutely can not complain about Kentucky seed or region.  They've got a shot, need another win streak.

It is wild that he's been there for 40 years. They've had a lot of success, too.

Oakland will try and run with Ky because that’s their style, better players with Ky says 89-71

CBS has now released the game times for the Thursday, and Friday games. The Cats will play Oakland at 7:10 on Thursday on CBS.

Trey Townsend is a pretty good all around player for Oakland. They got four guys that basically shoot 35-38% from three (but Townsend doesn't take enough to really count). They don't really get to the FT line besides Townsend.

I don't think they'll be able to guard Kentucky. If that Cats control the board and take care of the ball, they should win by double digits.

I think I saw -13.5 on Draft Kings.

AAAAHHHHH!!!!  We’re in good shape now!!!   Cal has come out with his famous (or is that infamous) “I’VE GOT A COUPLE OF TWEAKS” garbage!!!  Just rinse and repeat!!  I sure hope these TWEAKS are better than the TWEAKS of the last few years!!!

Love Kentucky's bracket, the only reason they shouldn't make it to the final four is, Cal. If they make it to the final four or even the elite 8 I think I'd be fine with that but if they fail to reach either one of those then the seasons a bust and Cal needs to go.

UK Final Four? What team have you all been watching this year? 

There are four teams in UK's bracket that are ahead of them in the net rankings, including Houston, who is number one in the net rankings. And you guys think this is an easy bracket and an easy path to the final four?

If UK doesn't make the Sweet 16, go at Cal and this team with both barrels blasting. But anyone thinking this defensively pathetic team should walk to the elite 8 or final 4 has me bewildered.

And maybe Houston...whose only the best defensive team in the country. All this hyperbole about how far the Cats should go is just premptively setting people up to crucify Calipari if they don't make the Final Four, or even the Elite 8.

I like their chances to make a nice little run here. But so many people are acting like they've never watched this tournament before, which is named for its "Madness".
