Wayne just isn’t playing well at all right now. In thier last 4 games against in-state teams, their lone win was Somerset Christian. Their 3 losses came against teams with combined records of 5-21, and their last two games were losses by 16 (to a 3-8 Boyle team) & by 21 (to a 1-6 Warren Central team).

Warren Central is just now getting all there good players back including Kade Unseld. Boyle loss is a mystery.

Yeah - Warren Central should be treated as if they are 2-1, because that's their record with almost the entire team (there's still one guy to come).  Central was missing Kade Unseld and Elijah Starks for all of Decmeber - those two are averaging a combined 38.3 PPG in the three games they've played.  Central has scored almost as many points in these three games as they did the five where they were missing those two, plus reserve player Robbie Dye.

Boyle is undefeated since their football guys have been back in the weight room lifting.. could be complete coincidence.. maybe not?

Haddix Boyle basketball MVP?  In all seriousness, good for the kids to get some positivity going.  Their athleticism will be a tough match for any regional team for sure!

Those records are a bit deceiving. Boyle has had some issues but seems to be starting to gel into a region favorite team many expected. Warren Central has only played 7 games, all but the last two without their WKU-signed star. They are inexperienced but have some solid pieces and are always difficult to beat.

Wayne county continues to struggle against good hard defensive pressure. They have all the pieces to make a run at the regional crown, but their guard play has to improve.

If you seen Boyle shoot the ball, would not be a mystery. Don't know how many three's they made but they shot well over 50 percent I'm sure. Grant it, Wayne is not playing real well at this time but I think there are brighter days ahead. HOPEFULLY
