Congrats to Raceland on the big win!

Congrats Raceland. I knew this one would be low scoring.

Awesome win Raceland, congratulations to the Rams and their fans!

Great win Raceland!

I am happy for 1A with this result. Happy, and a little surprised. This makes the playoffs more interesting.

Color me surprised as I assumed Pikeville would roll. Congrats to the lawn chair mafia.

I’m looking for that one in my Crayola 64-pack, but I’m not finding it.

Well done, Rams!

I know @oldrambler would be proud.

I said the same on the way home last night. It felt like 1A was a foregone conclusion (and maybe it still will be), but at least we have evidence that Pikeville can be beat. It would be neat to see this rematch at UK in a couple months.

This is Pikeville's first loss to a 1A school since 2020, a streak spanning 16 games the Panthers won by an average margin of 33 points. The only game that was decided by fewer than three scores was the three point win over Russellville in the 2021 finals. And that team was full of fifth year seniors.

Impressive run by Pikeville.
