Not sure about this, but I believe Mike Yeagle’s offense that Greg Hergott played QB in, early 90’s, is the same offense that Eddie played QB in at Georgetown. 

The Beechwood offense has taken many different shapes over the years. Hergott adapts to the talent. When Cam Hergott was QB, there was a lot of QB run. Before Cam with Brayden Burch at QB Beechwood won two titles with zero QB running. I have seen Beechwood run offense out of about every set you can think of. I have seen TE pass plays be a big part of the offense and then no part of the offense. I have seen run focused offense, spread, you name it I think Beechwood has done it. Especially in a small school, your talent can dictate the focus of your offense.

I figure a program like Beechwood doesn’t want to rush to hire a coach, but what is a reasonable time frame? It hasn’t been a month yet, but spring football will be pretty soon. If it’s anyone that’s not on staff they probably have at least some small things they do different than coach Rash, also building a report with his team and staff. Big shoes to fill to whomever is hired, good luck.

Beechwood hasn’t done spring ball in a long time, if ever. Too many multi-sport athletes playing baseball and running track.

The next thing you hear from Beechwood will be announcing the next coach. That might be two days, two weeks or two months. Nobody knows.
