With the tourney going back to the semis and finals on Saturday, I vehemently disagree with the KHSAA setting the days schedule concerning tip times. Should’ve gone with the blind draw.

Playing late Thursday, late Friday, last game Saturday morning, and then Saturday evening will be much tougher than other routes.

Whew!! My 14th region sure got a bad draw. One and done. GRC is for real!!

Just happy that Highlands doesnt have to cancel classes again. Love the night games, very convenient for us.

There’s this thing call RPI/ strength of schedule/ head to head game and score, common opponent etc etc etc. 

I think a good compromise on draw/seeding would be if the top 4 teams were seeded and then the rest of the bracket was drawn randomly.

Is the actual drawing broadcast? Or do they do it privately and then release bracket?

The next best thing to a CCH vs. Highlands 9th region final matchup will be your "this is how David will take down Goliath" detailed analysis on the day before the game!  Definitely something I will be looking forward to, and hope you get the opportunity to dive into that scenario!

Exactly. I’m still trying to figure out what the RPI is used for other than Football?

I hope RPI is never used for anything other than football and that eventually they come up with something better for football as well.

Wouldn't we just be complaining about Pulaski/Madison Central, CovCath/PRP, Male/Ashland in a seeded bracket? And I'm to believe Pikeville is the best team in the state and Covington Catholic is sixth? There is a place for RPI but seeding a statewide basketball tournament, at least right now, looks about as fair as a blind draw.

Honestly did not know the RPI is this flawed. Can the same be said for football, if so yeah need a bit of an overhaul.
