Really? I couldn’t disagree more. I’m not letting one bad half change my opinion that Pitzer is the better player. He’s a much better thrower and we somehow don’t lose anything in the QB run game despite Holtz being a much better athlete.

You can’t be serious. It was was only a half because of how bad the first half was, Eddie had to give up on throwing the ball and try Agee. I think he’ll be pretty good the next couple years but is clearly not ready now,  he needs more development.  He overthrew nearly every receiver in that first half by 5 yards plus. Holtz has never looked like that. Pitzer looked good against Boone…. But it was Boone. It may not matter anyway, Pitzer looked to have gotten his 2nd concussion Friday night of the season. I hope he recovers quickly but I wouldn’t put him out there again if we want to have a shot at winning the next two games.

News flash: Blue Kernels complained about CCH.

Color me shocked.

Right he didn’t ever have a ton of production but I still thought he was really good. Production at WR is very dependent on other factors so I don’t factor that in too much. 6’1/6’2 with really good movement skills and physicality. Campbell is getting a good one.

You can make the case that the best athlete in the class the last 3 years is no longer on the team. You want to know why the offense is struggling relative to past years? It’s not hard to see why.

The offensive struggles are directly related to the QB challenges, and to a lesser extent a more dominant running back. Having Stava would have helped for sure, Though I think the guys we have in the backfield have done a pretty good job considering the lack of a passing threat. We have really good options to throw the ball downfield to, both TE’s, Zion, Agee, etc; we just haven’t been able to do it, or really even tried, very much this season.

If Pitzer is out who starts...Holtz or Agee?

Would be nice to see Agee get some throwing reps- lol.  If I remember right,he's only had a few, one for int.  I remember him dicing up teams in past as dual threat???that's the only scenario Covcath has not went with yet...him as a dual threat.

Holtz is solid too, but if you are going to use Agee why not let him throw-?

If Agee is going to play QB he has to throw some too, otherwise teams will just stack the box and make it very tough sledding for him.

Not having D1 type talent makes a difference and a lot harder to be dominant each week without it. Still good teams though.

There’s some D1 talent for sure they are just young trust me for both programs most of them will be the sophomore groups mark my words.

Having dealt with this issue from a coaching and parent perspective, you are 100% accurate!

I wish people would go and watch DIII/DII/NAIA games and realize the high talent level that it takes just to play at those levels.  DI is a whole other level of talent.

All parents should have to do this! Then maybe they would stop putting unrealistic expectations on their kids. I also think more parents should watch their kids' practices... might understand a whole lot better why their son or daughter isn't getting the playing time they think they deserve.

When did he dice up teams in the past as a dual threat?

Oh and getting a letter inviting you to Penn State's camp because they want to see your son/daughter for a fee of $775.00 does not mean you are being recruited as a D1 athlete.  Sorry this is my rant on the multitude of social media posts about how players are being "invited" or recruited.

Or because you pay someone 2500+ to market your kid doesn’t make your kid a Division I prospect.

Shocking how many people are falling into this trap and HOW MUCH MONEY is being bilked from multiple angles on these unsuspecting parents who have dreams of Little Johnny being a college superstar.
