Game not as close as final score indicates. Tigers a little clunky out of the gates and let Etown break off a long run for the first score, but T.J. Greenwell returned the ensuing kickoff for a TD, and then got a long scoring pass from Senior QB Brady Clark to Jr. WR Shannon Tonge, to up 14-7 in the 1st, 21-7 at half, and 42-7 early 4th.

Clark finished with 4 TD passes and Greenwell ran for a score, caught a pass for a score, and returned the aforementioned kick for a score, and the Tigers bend-but-don’t break defense stopped E-Town to 1-7 on 4th down conversion plays.

It’s time to start talking about the best 5’4” player in the state, Bardstown’s sophomore RB/OLB Tyleeq “Ta Ta” Williams, a Darren Sproles-ian kind of player who routinely runs for 100 yards as the change-of-pace back and is one of the best pure open field tacklers I’ve ever seen, even while taking on blockers twice his size. Fantastic game last night.

He’s probably the only 5 foot 4 player in the state haha.

Yes a very solid win for the Tigers.  Glad you brought up Ty-Ty's name.  That kid is one heck of a football player.  He most definitely does not allow his size to dictate his play.  Quick on his feet, shifty. fast, tough nosed are words I think of when he is on offense.  On defense, he has no fear despite his size.  The kid plays with an aggressive attitude and most definitely is a major factor on both sides of the ball.  One heck of a tackler.

After reading your post, I totally agree.  The Best 5'4 player in the State.  College coaches need to take time to check him out.  You will be impressed.  He is One of the weapons that opponents have to prepare for when playing Bardstown.  GREAT JOB TY-TY!!!!!
