At the merge feast, why is Danny telling Evie that she had him worried with them taking out all the guys?  Don't say everything you're thinking bro!

Everything to know about ‘Survivor 41’

-First season that the show hasn't had a subtitle like "Winners At War" or "Island of Idols"
-Filming schedule was 26 days instead of 39...so not as much surviving.
-The cast was already selected before they announced a production shutdown in spring of 2020. The show was partly recast due to the CBS diversity mandate from fall 2020 that requires casts of all future reality series to consist of at least 50% Black, Indigenous or People of Color.
-Cast will be three tribes featuring 18 all new contestants, no repeat contestants.
-Probst said in the Season 40 finale broadcast that they were looking for teenagers to apply as contestants. "I’m talking teenagers - 16, 17, 18, 19. Do it. Cool parents and a cool school? Who knows. It could happen." ...so will there be any teens in the cast?

I am definitely looking forward to it.  Wednesdays have just felt empty.

I didn't know a lot about what you posted there.

Interesting mandate, but that's for another topic probably.

Very excited about the upcoming season but also a bit concerned. Supposedly the theme is a back to basics season. I’ve been rewatching some old seasons occasionally over the past year of so and the older seasons just allowed for so much more character development and story arcs. I loved that aspect of the show but if they can combine that with the more recent seasons better filming it will be perfect.

I don’t understand the need for dropping essentially 2 weeks off of the show. There will now be a tribal council every other day and I’m not sure that will be a good change to the show. I’m hoping that it will somehow be explained due to COVID and it isn’t a permanent change to the show.

Ready for this. Hope we like the changes.

I questioned that myself too. The only reason I could think of, they wanted to reduce the time that their production crew was spending at hotels in Fiji where they would potentially be crossing paths with other international travelers (in the times that they aren't on location filming.)  ?‍♂️

'Attaboy!

You can sure tell that CBS missed the income from commercials during Survivor.

Brad reminds me of Sam Malone on Cheers.

Reminds me of Bill Walton.

I haven’t watched Survivor since about 2005 and saw it on the other night and gave it another shot. I actually enjoyed it and will probably start watching again regularly. My wife also watched with me and had never watched it before and she enjoyed it as well.

I took a pretty good hiatus too. I just had to go back and check which season I stopped on initially...looks like I watched the first 9 seasons, up through Survivor: Vanuatu, and then I picked it up back up with Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X, which would have been season 33 in 2016.
