A one season advantage. No one will take the risk in future seasons.

The saying are way too bizarre.  But I agree, one and done with that one.

At the merge feast, why is Danny telling Evie that she had him worried with them taking out all the guys?  Don't say everything you're thinking bro!

She seems like she has a really patronizing attitude about other people's opinions. She said in one of the confessionals last night something to the effect of, "As a pastor sometimes I have to take al

It's interesting to me, I feel like Shan and Ricard are both playing the same brand of game on a very similar skill level...but I feel like Ricard is significantly more dislikable, and hits me with much more of a "snake in the grass" vibe, whereas Shan doesn't particularly strike me that way with either of those qualities. Shan just strikes me with a "Oh, she's playing the game well" vibe.

Boring and predictable episode and I was glad for that to be honest. If anyone other than Genie had been voted out I might have been upset.

Naseer is an immunity challenge beast!!!!!!

Totally agree about it being a boring and predictable episode.

I personally felt like the most interesting part of the episode was in tribal council when Ricard pointed out that once the merge came around, people from other tribes were very possibly going to look at the last two from their tribe as "experienced and cunning" - and thereby put targets on their heads - because they had managed to navigate their way through 4 tribals, and managed to successfully plot to vote off all the other people in the tribe without getting snuffed themselves.

I know what you mean. Its largely his facial expressions. I feel like hes playing a character, like wanting to make sure he's portrayed as a villain.

Survivor Night!

I'm watching late again tonight after vending the FC game.

I've become somewhat anti all these new advantages and all these twists in the show, its just become a little too gimmicky for me, even though I still love Survivor.

I will say, I'm a fan of the one they introduced last night.  I think the timing of it is good.  No corny sayings and stuff like that.  A total twist on everyone, which could have major repercussions on the person that plays it, if they do.  I was a fan.

Also more hate on Ricard.  How are you going to make Shan the bad guy for asking for her advantage back that you said you'd give back?

I like Naseer.  Seems like a nice guy. I don't think he has any chance of winning though.

I'm exactly with you on this. I definitely hope that dumb Beware Advantage goes the same was as the 'ol Medallion of Power. And not huge on Liana's Knowledge is Power Advantage or the whole Shot In The Dark die that each of the players has either. But I really did like the twist with the tribe merge, and that included the deal with Erika being exiled for two days and getting her little mix-up advantage with the hour glass.

I hope Erica takes it. She needs to protect herself. The faces on the guys who think they are safe will be precious. And the relief of the losers. Hilarious!!

I'm hoping that somehow backfires on her.  Someone gets wind of it and let's someone else in their alliance hold the idol/advantage.  Then after she asks at tribal and wastes it, they just give it back.

I hope we get it for entertainment, but is she better off not making half her tribe mad at her and now all have a vendetta against her?

I know...part of me thinks that if she flips the immunities, the folks who are all immune are basically bound to take her out immediately after. It'd be a hell of a gamble if she did it...but on the flipside, she's got her head on the chopping block right now, soooooo....

Yeah, definitely an interesting conundrum.  Does she also gain immediate favor with the people she just saved and now all of a sudden find some resemblance of an alliance when currently she has none.

I think yes that happens. Other than Shan the people she saves need better alliances. Shan will talk her way in until they notice she is a threat.
