The next order of business we need to look at is Playoffs. The current 16 team per Conference format would be overkill, only 4 teams per Conference would miss the Playoffs.

 

I'm in favor of changing to a 12 team format, with the top 2 division winners from each conference getting first round byes. See image below.

I'm good with 12 teams. I rarely advance past the first round of the playoffs so any decision made is unlikely to affect my franchise
