GrantNKY Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen, Josh Allen, Baker Mayfield, or Lamar Jackson?
GrantNKY Posted December 5, 2017 Author Posted December 5, 2017 Here are my comparisons for each player: Darnold=Matt Stafford. Hopefully he doesn't get tucked in a bad organization for eternity Rosen=Matt Ryan Allen=Big Ben Mayfield=Russell Wilson Jackson= Easiest one, Michael Vick.
LIPTON BASH Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 In order for me 1. Darnold 2. Allen 3. Jackson 4. Mayfield 5. Rosen
GrantNKY Posted December 5, 2017 Author Posted December 5, 2017 In order for me 1. Darnold 2. Allen 3. Jackson 4. Mayfield 5. Rosen Why so low on Rosen?
GrantNKY Posted December 5, 2017 Author Posted December 5, 2017 To me the only question on Rosen is how much the guy loves the game. He's the most gifted passer I've seen in a while. But will he put in the work needed to be a top level NFL guy is the question for me.
LIPTON BASH Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Why so low on Rosen? Has never impressed me. As a Notre Dame fan he reminds me of Jimmy Claussen.
GrantNKY Posted December 5, 2017 Author Posted December 5, 2017 Has never impressed me. As a Notre Dame fan he reminds me of Jimmy Claussen. Did you watch the A&M game at the beginning of the year? That's about as impressive of a performance throwing the ball as I've ever seen from a QB in college. I'm not high on him because I think he has maturity issues and is more of a friend than a leader. But the kid has really impressed me on the field.
bugatti Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 I believe I would go Darnold #1, but each of them make me take pause for different reasons.
GrizzlyAdams Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Rosen by a mile for me. He has one of the best mechanics for a QB in the past 6-7 years coming out of college. His transition to the NFL will be so much easier because of it. Go ahead and book it now, he will be the first overall pick next year unless something drastic happens.

Rosen and Mayfield are the two I like the most and will have the best careers imo. Rosen reminds me of Rodgers and it wouldn't surprise me if he slips just a little like Rodgers. Mayfield reminds me of a combination of Brees and Wilson.
coldweatherfan Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 I'm going to try to pick up Teddy Bridgewater as a free agent. Then draft some guys to help him.
