Not terribly surprising. T has been resting starters in district play and Beatty has been showing restraint. Get to the running clock and playing 8 minute quarters in the 2nd half. No need to keep putting points on teams that, were it not for district reasons, would never otherwise be on the schedule.

T will definitely be less restrained this week against Ballard though.

Calpreps has Trinity a one point favorite in a matchup versus Covington Catholic, who is ranked number two in KY on their site.

Which team has the most FBS D1 players? I don't know Trinity's roster and that's why I am asking.

Trinity has three solid Division 1 prospects: McDuffie is senior DE. Herron is a junior DE (Michigan). Moore is a senior receiver (Texas). There could be a lineman who gets an offer. Hull and Cardosi, senior LBs, my get a smaller school offers. Had Coach Brohm at Purdue may come calling down the road.

Thanks. The high end talent level sounds even between the two.
