Its a rough day to be a Cards fan for sure.

 

Its sad that RP's career will likely end with these scandals tainting a career

 

Jurich may be gone after this as well. Papa John has been gunning for him. This may very well be straw that breaks the back - or opens the final flood gate. Both have or are meeting with the interim President. The President probably has tough decisions and actions to take today or in the near future. It almost seems the path of best action is to reboot the BB program and the AD function completely. And it will be hard for those who support both or either man that this is a reasonable outcome.

 

All the Cardinal fans can say if these two go is: Thanks for accomplishments. Amazing things have been done that took a lot of work.

 

Loyalty and confidence can be a good thing. But the details have to be managed and watching over things, in detail, are coaches and the AD's jobs. And though neither man may be directly involved in these last two scandals the issues are very damaging and its hard to see them keeping their jobs at this point.

Report out that Jurich was told to fire Pitino and he refused, then he was dismissed.

 

If thats the case, then Jurich is an idiot (unless Rick has something on him possibly?) and maybe just made it harder for himself to find a job after all this. Who wants to hire an AD that won't fire a coach after ALL the things that have gone on with Pitino and the program?

I hope all of you finding joy in this don't ever have to experience it... That's all I'll say.
