My most recent random thought on all of this...

 

What if all of the FBI investigations turn up undeniable evidence that the NCAA knew all of this was going on and purposely turned a blind eye to it, or worse, were involved?

Looks like this whole scandal has taken on a racial context on Twitter.

If he's fired for cause then UofL doesn't have to pay out the remainder of his contract. Debate over whether or not this rises to the level of "for cause" will be the subject of litigation.

 

My hope is that this is all part of bargaining for a negotiated settlement ahead of a resignation.

Yeah there's no way they will fight the "for cause" in this situation.

Pitino's huge ego won't let him go quietly.

 

His image is now so badly tarnished no amount of silver polish will ever clean it. Karen Sypher should have ended his career. When that didn't happen Katina Powell should have. The man is and always has been scum and I've always believed that.

 

Can the Hall of Fame expel him? They should.

If the schools involved with this investigation are placed on probation and banned from postseason play will their current players be permitted to transfer to another school without having to sit out a year?

We’re all gonna have to see it to believe it, in UL firing Rick.
