Here are recruits that Calipari ran from or didn't show much interest.

Bruce Bowen. Weird recruitment. Cal never showed any interest.

DeAndre Ayton. At Arizona. Basically begged for UK to recruit him. No dice. Arizona swooped in and got him when many figured Kansas.

Josh Jackson.

Cliff Alexander. Izzo and Cal in early then dropped him with quickness.

During investigation into UL foundation it was determined they provided funds for a "pro UL " radio show believed to be The Ramsey and Rutherford Show. Amount was significant somewhere around 200k if I remember correctly.

Just found it . Came out in the forensic audit. Actual amount was 300k per year. Probably why they're not on the air anymore.

FYI Jackson's prep team was Adidas, KU is Adidas, but he signed with Under Armor as pro.

Kansas is a perfect example of why you can't just simply connect the dots between a school and who holds their shoe deal. Self has long been a Nike guy and most of his deepest connections are in the Nike family. Does he get a bit of a boost from Adidas? Sure, but they are regularly deeply involved with Nike kids. This stuff isn't as simple as some want it to be...

There are some shady individuals in basketball and I know a few of them. Most often they are likable people too. I already ended up in an NCAA investigation a few years ago. I don't want any part of the FBI.

Even though this sucks for Louisville fans, it's absolutely necessary for Pitino to be gone at this point. Things will be rough for some time but I'm sure plenty other teams are going to be affected that hasn't even been discussed yet.

For all you salivating for it, signs are pointing towards Pitino AND Jurich being out...

 

While I don't agree about Jurich, I will be surprised if he's not.
