I think that depends on the severity of the penalties, but I'd assume so. They allowed it for Baylor back in the whole Dave Bliss fiasco.

I believe that the way to rule works is that if the post-season ban keeps the athletes from playing the rest of the time they are eligible then they are allowed to transfer without sitting out.

Jurich just met with UofL president (just under 10 minutes). According to radio guy he wasn't his usual talkative self and he wasn't wearing Adidas gear.

How many of these young assistant coaches these days ended up at the NCAA level because they were some kid's AAU coach and came to the university as some sort of shady package deal? It happens a ton. The whole thing is rotten.

I doubt that, because it's different if it was NCAA allegations. I doubt many assistants would take a fall for a HC if they're looking at "80" years in Prison.
