  1. Rams win by 2 TD's+, I don't think this game is a close as people think it will be, Raceland is still in a different "weightclass" than Sayre.
  2. Sayre did what they wanted with Paris. Luke Pennington was unreal, Sayre WR’s were wide open all night. Paris did stop the inside run, but it didn’t really matter. Paris had at least 7 turnovers, and maybe a 150yds offense.
  3. Well…Paris fumbles…Sayre ball 9 min left in 4th Q
  4. Paris throws another INT, but PF on Sayre 10 min left 4th Q
  5. Paris throws another….Interception, Sayre returns it to the 50
  6. Sayre has now had 3 untouched touchdowns called back.
  7. Paris fumbles it again… Sayre takes over on Paris 43yd line.
  8. Doesn’t matter…Sayre scores on a bomb their next play 31-12 Sayre 9:30 2nd Q I’m wondering if the Paris DC made it on the bus…
  9. Sayre returns the following Kickoff for a TD, though it gets called back do to a blindside block.
  10. Paris scores on a rushing TD on their opening drive. 2pt conversion fails 24-12 Sayre, 9:51 in 2nd
  11. Paris fumbles again with 5 seconds left in the half. Sayre kneels it out. 24-6 Sayre at the half. 4 Turnovers for Paris Sayre doing what they want on offense, though Paris D-Line has been the bright spot, nothing going up the middle.
  12. Paris scores on an end around from about 50 yards out, Miss XP. 24-6 Sayre 1:46 2nd Q
  13. Sayre throws a TD on a 4th and 1 from the Paris 30? 24-0 Sayre 3:46 2nd Q
  14. Paris throws Interception, Sayre’s ensuing possession throw a TD that gets called back, couple shots at the end zone. Settle for a FG. 17-0 Sayre 8:51 2nd
  15. Paris Fumbles in their own 25, Sayre recovers Two plays later Sayre Pass TD 14-0 4:26 left in 1Q
  16. "A holding call is in the eye of the beholder"-Unknown
  17. I don't think you necessarily can tell these teams apart from their common opponents Paris scored more, but Sayre allowed half as many points. Last year when they played Sayre won 15-12, though Sayre's Brock Coffman, their WR with multiple D1 offers DNP in the Paris game last year. Both squads returned the majority of their teams, and I'm looking forward to seeing this one in person, as it should be a classic and a future district rivalry. Common opponents: Frankfort: Sayre defeated Frankfort 45-6. Paris defeated Frankfort 50-0. Nicholas County: Sayre defeated Nicholas County 47-2. Paris defeated Nicholas County 40-6. Fairview: Sayre defeated Fairview 48-8. Paris defeated Fairview 31-0. (Game started with a running clock) Ludlow: Sayre defeated Ludlow 14-0. Paris defeated Ludlow 50-26. (Score was 28-26 Paris with 9 minutes to go in the 4th) Eminence: Sayre defeated Eminence 12-8. (Scored the go ahead TD with 9 minutes left in the 4th) Paris defeated Eminence 55-12. (Game was 28-12 at halftime)
  18. I'd be surprised if Paris had 30 yards rushing? Though that was an amazing catch by Ransom? Paris' Dline was pretty stout for the first half. I don't think this game was ever in doubt, Raceland failed to score twice in the Redzone in the first half, realistically it could have been at least 24-0 at the half. Every time Paris scored, Raceland answered immediately. Paris is who I thought they were, and if they meet up again in Raceland, it'll be the same result.
  19. Paris showing the ultimate hospitality lighting up that tower in Raceland Orange.
  20. I think Paris wins this one rather handily, though I would hesitate to say they are back until they get a significant program win. Was Rockcastle a good win for Paris? Yeah, was it significant? No. If they can stay within 14 points of Raceland, I'll be a believer. Paris is going in the right direction, and maybe their schedule didn't pan out like they planned, they're a good 1A team, not great.
