  1. My biggest grief with this game is the announcers sound like their doing a baseball game. No inflection, Gary Ball crew is alot better.
  2. My feed worked, but no one really miss much with the kick. There were some after game extra curricular activites.
  3. A good lawyer can swing it anyway, when it comes down to it. Media can put any spin they want to on it also, but if I was Mike Harmon I wouldn't of talked to any media, but deep down I think that's what he wants. I'll assume he knew Zion playing in the all-star game would get him suspended for a few games(idiotic), but he did it anyways, to push the agenda.
  4. I agree, but he mentioned Huntington Prep, which is a basketball focused you could say the same about Hamilton Heights now. But I think the kicker is he mentions that the you better coaching and competition and he wasn't referring to the classroom. Also Edward Marlow had this piece in the Paducah Sun. 5/25/2018 Friday afternoon, Mike Harmon, Zion's father, also confirmed that he and his son have made some trips to the area and do have some interest departing Adair County for new high school basketball opportunities. What those opportunities may be, Mike said, is still a very undecided thing. He specifically mentioned Marshall County, McCracken County, Scott County, Bowling Green or a prep route (such as Hamilton Heights Academy out of Chattanooga, Tennessee) as potential paths benefiting both the family and Zion's basketball development. However, Mike did mention that there is still hesitation in bringing Zion to First Region basketball for two reasons. Would his son get tested by local talent on a regular basis? And would his son still be able to score at a very high rate in the region's very obvious - and sometimes deliberate - pace of play?
  5. An excerpt from an interview with Josh Moore of the Lex Herald Header 5/29/18 "Mike, who is a traveling nurse, told the Herald-Leader that several out-of-state prep schools have been in touch — Hamilton Heights Christian Academy in Tennessee and Huntington Prep in West Virginia among them — but the family wants to remain in Kentucky. "For a guard, there's a good level of competition and there's good coaching in Kentucky" If I'm KHSAA I can easy see that as an athletic based move.
  6. Sounds like alot of SC's problems were self inflicted in the second half. They had 3-personal foul penalties in one series while Henry Clay was driving.
  7. Wow, I think alot of people under estimated Lincoln Co. this year. Nice Win
  8. I think with or without Barber, Paris will struggle. When Maggard graduated they lost a legit 4 year starter at QB. Teams can now focus on the ground game. Paris has some good athletes, and Renfro seems to be playing, but no one to get the ball to them.
  9. Listened to this on WCYN, it was 16-0 with 6 minutes left in the game. Paris didn't make it over the 50 yard until 2 minutes left in the game according to the radio crew.
  10. Hearing Paris won't be full strength, big loss if so. Harrison Co. by 2+ TDs
  11. As mentioned earlier he played in that SLAM Magazine All Star game in NYC and to workout with Pat The Roc.
  12. Didn't he just play in an all star game the other night? Wasn't there a rule at one time you couldn't play organized basketball until KHSAA basketball season starts, once school had started?(dumb rule) and KY is the only state that has it?
  13. I've seen Zion play at the state tournament as an eighth grader, and no doubt, is a legit player. I almost feel like Mr. Harmon is more concerned about making his kid a Brand. He sells his own GGP gear, sponsors camps while using Zion as a marketing ploy. When he plays against competition like himself(D1 quality) he becomes an average player. If they used his age instead of "8th grader, Freshman" his accolades would be a little different.
  14. We're academics the first intentions of going to said school? Every one and their mama knew he was transferring, but the conversation wasn't "Where is Zion going to take Pre-Cal? " With his dad being a traveling nurse it's basically a transfer as you please scenario. There are things that can be looked into from a closed thread. Though If Scott Co. holds a "The Grind Session" event this year, it would look to obvious from his dad's interviews.
  15. Slow down...potential one and done?. Agree with alot of your points but his length makes up for his average athleticism.
  16. If Derek Willis can contribute at UK, Dontaie Allen can contribute at UK. And as Evan Daniels of 247sports indicated yesterday, Allen has gotten a major bump after the UA Association and will likely be a Top 100 player once the new rankings come out.
  17. So will this open up the offense to five play calls now?
  18. Carmelo,Dwight Howard, Vince Carter are all tweeners, but should all get in.
  19. Yeah, Kyrie Irving had nothing to do with Cleveland beating Golden State that year...
  20. I believe Walker Parks is at Douglass now
  21. He's already one of the best players in his class, plays in the Nike EYBL, he doesn't need extra exposure. He needs players that can support him, but they're not at Marshall Co.
  22. Gallatin Co. has to feel good about their chances next year.
  23. Seems like Aspirations Gym is the "AAU" handler of KY HS Football. He's in every picture with D1 KY Football recruits.
