Ram
If you have good sports you will have good academic success in the school. I wish more people would understand this. If you don't believe it, name a perennial power, or a perenial second tier team, that does not have quality academics as well.
ChiefSmoke
I wish more people would understand this. Many people do understand, but are scared to say it. They fear being criticized for being too sports-oriented.
Harry Doyle
I wish more people would understand this. If you don't believe it, name a perineal power, or a perineal second tier team, that does not have quality academics as well. People understand it, but it's not PC to admit it my friend. You nailed it.
All the Right Moves
It doesn't help when you happen to turn on the tv on a Sunday evening to an ESPN channel and see....competitive gaming.
DeSales Dad
This is my alma mater, and they are a mere 20 years removed from blowing past Trinity on their way to winning the 4-A state title. The decline started when Mark Brown left, and it has accelerated in the last 4-5 years. They do have an alum lighting up the scoreboard at LWC - Dylan Beasley is dominating that league as a QB.
