Of course D is wrong. All four eggs should be on the right side of the carton, not the left.

I always pick up the cartoon by the middle, so B . that way if I don't know what's in it I don't find out the hard way that they are all on one end! If it's full the middle works as well. Therefore I keep the eggs in the middle no matter how many are in it

Put the 4 eggs in the extreme corners. That way, you have Bingo.

When I take them out of the container I do a rearrange job with what's left that would make your head spin.

There's no hope for some of us. We just rearrange until things seem right. Then we can go on about our business. It's why all the money in my cash register has to be pointed the same way. First thing I do each bar shift. And I freak out when other people get into my register and muck it all up.

Is there a reason for saving the shells?

Is there a reason for saving the shells?

Not really, but I don't have a reason to throw them away either. When I was a kid we composted a lot and egg shells are great for composting, so it might just be a habit. Obviously Mrs 2C doesn't share that habit

 

I think my mom used to crush them and put them in potted plants too. Maybe? I'm not sure.
