I can't believe anyone would even have an opinion as to which is correct. What would be the purpose of arranging the eggs in any particular order?

 

We normally buy eggs in the 18 packs. And we pay no attention to how we remove the eggs or how the remaining ones are left in the carton.

There are some things we have to do to keep a civilized society. Putting all the eggs on one side so it's heavier than the other is not a society I want to be a part of.

 

The answer is now solved. I started thinking about this thread and remembered making the Mrs. some scrambled eggs this AM. Thought to myself, "I think there were about 4 eggs left" Just checked and sure enough, 4 eggs.

The eggs are farm fresh, and the ones still in the carton were the furthest away. I may have skipped over one the other day to grab a different one since most are different shapes or colors and may be more appealing to this guy who likes egglands best and not this natural crap.

I beg to differ here. Weighted to one side provides comfort and consistency. The REAL question here is do you weight them to the left or to the right? To the left is clearly for left wing liberal do-gooders content to give away everyone else's money to those who cannot get their own eggs under their own power. Those who weight them to the right are obviously power hungry bigots who see the world in narrow terms and would prefer to hoard their eggs for the coming war.

No, by alternating ends I always get the center eggs last. I typically eat 4 at a time. So I will take 2 from each end.
