A, B, and C have some weighted symmetry about them. D, you must be senile. That is driving me nuts thinking that people would find that acceptable. That is like walking around with one arm sleeve rolled.

Also, I store the carton long ways, front to back, in the fridge which has a lot to do with how I do it. Storing the carton from left to right would seem like wasted space in the fridge.

I can't believe anyone would even have an opinion as to which is correct. What would be the purpose of arranging the eggs in any particular order?

 

We normally buy eggs in the 18 packs. And we pay no attention to how we remove the eggs or how the remaining ones are left in the carton.

Either B or C. With C I would put the eggs on the outermost corners.

I normally only eat one or two eggs at a time and I pick them out of the egg carton which faces me like in the pictures. I want the weight of the carton to to be off balance to the rear because I believe that gives the the greatest chance of avoiding any spillage so I line all four of them up back center.
