4 Eggs Left In The Carton...

Featured Replies

Not really, but I don't have a reason to throw them away either. When I was a kid we composted a lot and egg shells are great for composting, so it might just be a habit. Obviously Mrs 2C doesn't share that habit

I think my mom used to crush them and put them in potted plants too. Maybe? I'm not sure.

Figured it was a circle of life deal.

I crush mine and use them on plants in the summer. I also use my coffee grounds for the same. Actually, right now both are being tossed onto an area of my back yard where I am trying to improve the soil.

I throw them at the neighbors front door and not worry about how to place them.

If it's up to me, that green one will not leave the carton!

You do not like green eggs and ham?

Would you like them here or there?

I would not like them anywhere! You let me be.

A different take on an old question.

Either B or D.

Same, I was wondering if anyone else thought the same.

I think it would be wonky.  I just handled it and it felt balanced.

That's where my brain went.

First, this isn't a rearrangement question, is it? Who would rearrange the eggs? Why?

I see it as how do you pull the eggs out. I usually pull them from right to left and front to back. In a dozen, I would pull the eggs from the right side first. In the 2 dozen carton. I would pull the front rows and right side first. My final four would be 4 in the back row, left side OR 4 in the back left corner two back rows, 2x2 in a square.

I look at it like lifting weights.  I want to use good form and I want the weight (eggs) balanced.
